I discovered this newer salon on Groupon and was a little nervous at first trying somewhere new, but once I walked in I felt welcomed and when I sat down in the chair I knew I was in good hands. I would definitely reccomend this salon to anyone looking for a trendy upscale environment.

I recently discovered Salon Domani due to a postcard I had received in the mail for 20% off my first visit and could not have been happier with the overall experience. The atmosphere and talent here is fantastic. I am so happy to have found a salon tucked into my neighborhood of West Bloomfield that my daughters and I can enjoy together!

Do not go to Salon Domani. The owner, Anika Domanico overprocessed and has ruined my once long blonde shiny hair into a mid-length damaged ashy brunette. Anika's father is the greatest stylist and colorist, Anotonio Barone. He was my stylist, colorist and "hairkeeper" for over 11 years until he became ill in 2009. I switched to Anika in Ruby Blu at his suggestion. I liked the way Anika cut my hair, but the color was never as edgy, fun or as good as her father. After 2yrs with Anika, I noticed she never "pulled the color through" and never moisturized my hair. It began to get very fuzzy in 2011. This coincided with an illness I had. Anika kept trying to blame the fuzziness of my hair on me, but admitted she should have been "pulling the color through" to deposit color long before.I agree to my base color of 8/9 all over. Without telling me Anika puts a color 8 on my hair which turned me into a dark brunette. She lied. She said she had no idea it would go that dark. She told me to wait as the color would "lift"....well it did lift to a greenish ashy color on my ends. She then cut three inches off of the length, but left the top of my hair with damage and "ashy" ends. I went back to give her the opportunity to correct it. Having been with her family and knowing that her father trained her, I expected she would have the capability to correct the color. When I called to make another appt, she told me it was too STRESSFUL FOR HER to fix my hair!! She offered no refund. Nothing.
