Holocaust Memorial Center Zekelman Family Campus Executive Director Stephen M. Goldman has been honored by the Department of Michigan Jewish War Veterans 62nd Brotherhood Program. The award, which honors outstanding community activists for their work in the community, was presented Feb. 23 at the Jewish Community Center in Oak Park. Other honorees include: Hillers Markets President James Hiller, Hebrew Memorial Chapel Director Otto B. Dube and Detroit Tigers pitcher Justin Verlander. Goldman’s selection is a result of his work at the Holocaust Memorial Center over the past year, ranging from the development and implementation of such exhibits as “Secret Heroes: The Ritchie Boys,” a travelling exhibit on display through the end of the …

Considering that the Koran calls for the killing of Jews, that Hamas and Hizbollah want the destruction of Israel, it completely escapes me as to why the JWV would honor someone like Goldman who is actively seeking out Muslims with whcih to do programming - a fact he admits to.
