Here are some of the biggest stories on Patch: A bright, yellowish stain on Canton Center Road south of Cherry Hill Road was caused by a chemical spill on Tuesday, according to Canton police reports. The driver of a truck carrying a barrel of yellow/green dye concentrate stopped when he noticed the spill as he was driving on Canton Center. Police closed the road to southbound traffic on Canton Center during the clean-up, causing minor traffic back-ups. Upon investigation, police noticed the barrel containing the bright liquid substance was not secured during transport. Usha Shah, 63, and Deepak Shah, 63, allegedly submitted more than $8.8 million in bogus claims to Medicare for home health care services that were either medically unnecessary and/or never provided.
