Michigan's right-to-work battle is not the only issue garnering national attention for Gov. Rick Snyder. On Sunday's edition of a special Meet the Press dedicated to the shooting at Sandy Hook Elementary school in Newtown, CT, Randi Weingarten, president of the national American Federation of Teachers, urged Snyder to veto pending legislation that would broaden concealed-carry laws. The bills, passed by the State Senate in November, and the State House last week, are ready for Snyder's signature, according to MLive.com. However, he delayed signing them for further review.
