ReplyYes, she should resign, or she should be let go ( fired ). Just like any other pereson that is caught drunk, drinking on the job. She has a problem then she should do somthing About it and get help.

ReplyI agree with Bonnie and what she had to say. I do not condone what Sandra Layne did. But I do undderstand that she must have been under a lot of stress and fear caring for this troubled grand son and no one to help her. The parents dumped him on the grandmother because they didn't want to care for him. The police and school knew of the trouble the boy was. But did not do anything to help or prevent it. I too think the parents should be accountable also.

ReplyI think she should be fired. Just like anyone else that does something like this. If she is a professional then she should act like one. She thought she could get a way with it because of her job. We all have some problems so get over it.

ReplyI disagree with Bonnie. But agree with Dan Wall. Grand mother was under stress and frieghten by this ttroubled grand son. Parents are also the blame.

ReplySorry to hear about this bad accident and the injuryed man. But I am not surprised at the accidents that happen. Just today I saw several cars go through red lights. Also a few cutting another car off because they want to get a head and speeding. You reall have be alert and watch out for these road hogs.

yes, she should resign. That is the right thing to do. She should have been fired just like any one when caught drinking on the job.
