AD/HD in the Preschool and Early Elementary Years

Pamela A. McCaskill, Ph.D., LP is one of 15 speakers who will be presenting at the conference.   Her topic is "AD/HD in the Preschool and Early Elementary Years"

Identifying the early signs of AD/HD in the preschool and early elementary years is important in order to intervene early in the child's development.  Symptoms of AD/HD specific to young children will be presented and practical parenting and school-based strategies for improving the child's emotional and behavioral functioning will be discussed.

Bio:  Dr. Pamela McCaskill is the owner and director of McCaskill Family Services, a private clinical psychology practice in Plymouth, MI.  She specializes in AD/HD and is the professional advisor to CHADD of Western Wayne County.  In addition to her work in private practice, she teaches workshops on AD/HD to parents, teachers, and other professionals.  She is an expert parenting coach and specializes in cognitive-behavioral therapy to help each individual reach their highest potential.

Social Workers will earn 5 CEU's.
