Free activities in Marshbank Park include bounce houses, nature crafts, music and more.

West Bloomfield Parks and Recreation Commission's third annual “Fall Fest" Sunday will fill Marshbank Park, 2805 Hiller Road, with activities that visitors of all ages will enjoy.

“This event allows West Bloomfield residents to get outdoors with their families and enjoy the season Michiganders are most proud of,” said Ted Davis, recreation superintendent for the West Bloomfield Parks and Recreation Commission. “Thanks to our sponsors, we are able to offer a wide variety of free activities for everyone to enjoy.”

Held from 2 p.m. to 5 p.m., this free event will feature a variety of fall-themed activities, including a petting farm, bouncers, fall-themed nature crafts, carnival-style games and sheep shearing.

Activities available for a small fee include airbrush tattoos and pony or horse rides. Jet’s Pizza of Keego Harbor and Bloomfield Hills will be selling concession items throughout the afternoon.

The event will also feature live music by the Swingland Band who specialize in ragtime, Dixieland and swing music.
