Did you know that it's legal to openly carry a firearm in the MI Pistol Free Zones listed in MCL 28.425o which includes school's? Yes, if the firearm is visible & you posses a valid CPL you may openly carry a firearm in a pistol free zones. To many it is frustrating that one cannot conceal carry in the Pistol Free Zones. In my opinion it forces Law abiding citizens who wish to protect themselves to have a visible handgun in thier possession. Wouldn't it just be easier and less stressful if people were allowed to conceal carry in those places and avoid all of the drama? Afterall each day you go to the grocery store and to run errands you encounter dozens of people carrying firearms which are concealed and you don't even realize it. What are your thoughts about being forced to have to Openly carry a firearm in those areas desiganted as pistol free zones in MCL 28.425o. I would love feedback from our community...
