Mothers, Daughters, Sisters & Friends luncheon

Giuliana and Bill Rancic to speak at benefit for Henry Ford West Bloomfield Hospital

"E! News" host and breast cancer survivor Giuliana and her entrepreneur husband Bill Rancic will be the keynote speakers at the ninth annual Mothers, Daughters, Sisters & Friends luncheon at 10 a.m., Wed., Oct. 2, at Shenandoah Country Club in West Bloomfield.

Giuliana Rancic has been on the red carpet for the Oscars, Grammys, Golden Globes and more, interviewing stars and getting Hollywood scoops. Her husband, Bill, was the 2004 winner of “The Apprentice.” The couple has their own reality show, Giuliana & Bill, on the Style Network.

In 2011, the Rancics were preparing for a third try to have a baby through in vitro fertilization, when her doctor insisted on a mammogram before attempting pregnancy. Early-stage breast cancer was discovered, and the couple’s plans were put on hold while she had surgery and radiation treatment. Now cancer free, with a baby boy, Giuliana and Bill will discuss their struggles and ultimate triumph battling this disease.
