Why go: I must admit the beauty, size and uniqueness of dahlias has always made them one of my favorite flowers. Dahlias date back to 1615 where they were first discovered in Mexico. Today Orchard Mall will be filled with hundreds of dahlias in every size, color, and variety for the Southeastern Michigan Dahlia Societies' 59th annual juried show.  You will have a chance to see these beauties in a wide assortment of arrangements and displays.  If you are interested in growing them in your own garden, experts will be on hand to answer your questions.
