Sylvan Lake Unveils Historical Signs at Ice Cream Social
The public is invited to attend this event, held at the Sylvan Lake Community Center.
This year's annual Sylvan Lake ice cream social, hosted by the Sylvan Lake Garden Club, includes the dedication of wayside signs that will share the community's history.
Held Aug. 15 at the Community Center, 2456 Pontiac Dr., the event begins at 6 p.m., with a presentation by the creative team behind the signs at around 7:30 p.m., said Helen Jane Peters, one of the event organizers. Of the five signs, two will be located at the Community Center.
