West Bloomfield Celebrates Dr. King's Legacy at United We Walk

West Bloomfield area residents honored the life and legacy of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Sunday, during the United We Walk event at West Bloomfield High School.

A portion of Orchard Lake Road was closed around mid-afternoon for a walk from Orchard Lake Middle School to the high school, where a program and dinner were held. West Bloomfield business owner Wesley Berry received the 2014 Community Leader award during a ceremony keynoted by WXYZ-TV news anchor Carolyn Clifford.
