Drop Off Cans, Drop Pounds at Weight Watchers

Members throughout southeast Michigan, including West Bloomfield, will help stock Gleaners Community Food Bank shelves.

Weight Watchers Group is collecting non-perishable food items from members in southeast Michigan, including West Bloomfield, to benefit Gleaners Community Food Bank.

According to Patch blogger Alison Schwartz, the Lose for Good campaign runs through Oct. 22 and will help stock food bank shelves before the holiday season begins. In addition, Weight Watchers Group will match food donations, pound for pound, during the collection period. Money will also be donated to Share our Strength and Action Against Hunger for each pound members lose.
