Fuel Report: Gas Prices Fall to $3.48 a Gallon in West Bloomfield

It's Monday, and if you're looking to fill up the tank in the Greater West Bloomfield area, gas prices are looking friendlier by the day.

According to the AAA, the average price for a gallon of gas in Metro Detroit is $3.42 this morning, down from $3.45 a week ago.

Some of the lowest gas prices in and around southeastern Michigan can be found in Fraser, where gas is $3.20 a gallon at the Sunoco station at the corner of 14 Mile and Utica, and Lake Orion, where gas is $3.21 a gallon at a Speedway and Kroger gas station along South Lapeer Road. In and around the Greater West Bloomfield area Monday, the cheapest price is $3.48, found at the Citgo on Orchard Lake Road at Pontiac Trail.
