House Hunt: There's No Place Like Home

With home sales up in Michigan, now is a great time to go bargain-hunting.

The National Association of Realtors reported an increase in home sales in 49 states and Washington D.C. during the first quarter of this year.

Even better news - Michigan wasn't the one state left out. Those honors go to Vermont. According to the AOLRealEstate.com report, lower-priced homes saw the biggest sales increase, in part due to all-cash sales.*

We found six homes in Farmington Hills and West Bloomfield priced at under $80,000, and three in Birmingham at under $110,000. Bargains are out there for savvy shoppers who haven't given up on the American dream of owning the roof they sleep under.
