Sweet Lorraine's May Bring Mac 'n Cheeze to West Bloomfield

The restaurant's co-owners are looking in the community for one of 10 new locations.

Sweet Lorraine's co-owners Lorraine Platman and Gary Sussman have announced plans to open 10 Sweet Lorraine's Mac n' Cheeze locations, and one may land in West Bloomfield.

According to The Detroit News, the couple decided to expand based on the success of restaurants in Great Lakes Crossing in Auburn Hills and Somerset Collection in Troy. Locations have been secured in East Lansing, downtown Detroit and Sylvania, OH.

Sweet Lorraine's has locations in Southfield and Livonia, and macaroni and cheese is on the menu there as well. But the new, more casual restaurants take it a little further.

“Our truffle and mushroom mac tops the list, but we have a steady following for cheddar and bacon. People can choose from 14 varieties – delivered fresh in five minutes,” Sussman told the newspaper.
