Weekend Weather: Warmer, Chance of Showers

The forecast calls for a chance of rain Saturday night and into Sunday.

Warmer weather is expected to hit West Bloomfield this weekend, but it may be counteracted with some rain in the forecast.

According to the National Weather Service, Friday is expected to be sunny and breezy. The temperature should not exceed 44 degrees, but the wind may gust as high as 36 mph. Later in the night, the temperature will dip down to 34 degrees. 

Saturday is expected to be warm and windy. The high should reach 51 degrees and the wind will blow up to 26 mph. By nightfall, a 40 percent chance of rain will be expected. The temperature will drop to a low of 45 degrees and the wind will blow up to 26 mph.

Sunday calls for more of the same — a 20 percent chance of showers, a high temperature at 52 degrees, and winds as high as 25 mph. Sunday night should be mostly cloudy with a high of 33.

Looking ahead to Monday, the early forecast calls for clouds and a high of 42 degrees.
