Updated: West Bloomfield Family Appears on ABC's '20/20'

The Wendrow family, separated for several months over sexual abuse allegations and recipients of a million-dollar settlement, was featured Friday on "20/20."

Updated: For a period of time, it seemed, everyone in West Bloomfield was talking about the case of Thal and Julian Wendrow. The married parents were separated from their two children after allegations of sexual abuse against his severely autistic 14-year-old daughter surfaced in late 2007.

Now, their story has been told on ABC's 20/20 in the segment "Exposed: When Junk Science is Used to Rip One Family Apart," which aired Friday on local ABC stations.

Appearing in the segment was Detroit Free Press reporter L.L. Brasier, who along with reporter John Wisely wrote a six-part series about the case. The Wendrows have lawsuits pending after all charges were dropped; the settled with them for $1.8 million, according to the 20/20 segment.
