Work on Maple/Orchard Lake Intersection Likely to Last Through Evening

Motorists should expect delays at the Maple and Orchard Lake roads intersection, according to a Road Commission for Oakland County (RCOC) press release.

DTE Energy is making emergency repairs to underground electric lines in and adjacent to the West Bloomfield intersection today, causing lane closures at the intersection, according to RCOC.

The work started around 9 a.m. today and is expected to take until about 12 midnight to complete.

The lanes impacted are the westbound through lane of Maple just east of the intersection and the outside southbound lane of Orchard Lake just north of the intersection.
