The Jewish Community Center of Metropolitan Detroit’s SAJE (Seminars for AdultJewish Enrichment) will host a “Live from New York’s 92nd Street Y” fall 2012series, featuring live, interactive broadcasts with some of today’s foremost scholars, thinkers and authors.
Amos Oz, Daniel Libeskind, James E. Young, Deborah Dash Moore and Fania Oz-Salzberger will discuss Jewish culture.
Amos Oz is the author of novels and essays on politics, literature and peace. Daniel Libeskind is the architect for the World Trade Center site. James E. Young is a
professor of English and Judaic studies at the University of Massachusetts. Deborah Dash Moore is a professor of history at the University of Michigan. Fania Oz-Salzberger is a writer and professor at the University of Haifa.
