Teens, Adults with Social Communication Challenges and the Law i.e. Facebook, stalking, threatening behaviors, disorderly conduct etc.

Recognizing and gaining an understanding of the law is so very important



in today’s society for young people on the autism spectrum. Learning



how words and actions can be interpreted by others in society and the



associated consequences is imperative for everyone's future. This



seminar will help the family unit attempt to recognize their individual



challenges and design goals and objectives in regards to the law.

  • Adults with autism living at home or on their own using facebook - recognizing who is a minor
  • Recognizing what words and actions to use in public
  • What is illegal prior to age 16?
  • What is illegal prior to age 18?
  • Recognizing appropriate campus/college behaviors
  • Stalking, staring too long, personal space
