WBHS Marching Band and Color Guard Registration

Where: West Bloomfield High School Media Center
Join the award-winning West Bloomfield High School Marching Band for our 2014 season. We are looking forward to an even more successful season than last year and would like this to be a reflection on our whole
community. Therefore, any students
who live within the West Bloomfield district boundaries are eligible
for membership in our extra-curricular marching program. There are currently openings for students in all sections and at any level of musical skill.
Our program will begin the last week of July and involve a week-long training camp at the YMCA Camp Copneconic in Fenton, MI. Students
interested in the drumline and color guard would begin practices as
early as this spring. During the school year, our practices are held
Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays (time TBD). We perform most
Saturdays at area marching band competitions from September through
October, finishing the season with the Michigan Competing Bands
Association State Finals at Ford Field in Detroit on the first weekend
in November.
We will announce the show concept for the fall, introduce the new
student leadership, and answer any questions that prospective members may have. NO EXPERIENCE NECESSARY! Come join us!
