Students at West Bloomfield High and Ealy Elementary schools are among those who began the 2011-12 school year Wednesday.
Whether participating in their "first" first day of school or their "last" first day of school, kindergarteners and seniors alike in the West Bloomfield School District reported back to classes Wednesday.
Kindergartener Kia Lee, 4, waited for class to begin at with her parents. "It's definitely an exciting day," said her father, Anton Lee.
Meanwhile, seniors Cortez Hardrick and Kimani Elliott arrived to school together to begin their senior year at , cups of pop from McDonald's in tow.
