Walled Lake Schools Invites Community to Day of Strings
The 3 p.m. concert showcases what students learn throughout a day of clinics and rehearsals.
The Walled Lake Consolidated School District invites the community to enjoy the annual Day of Strings concert on Jan. 11, at Walled Lake Western High School, 600 Beck Rd. in Walled Lake.
The 3 p.m. event highlights what strings students have learned throughout a day of rehearsals, clinics, and participation in sectionals with their fellow musicians. Students will have an opportunity to work with the top string players and teachers from around the state.
Activities begin at 9 a.m. and will conclude at the end of the community concert around 4:30 p.m.
