Weather-Related School Closings Vary Across West Bloomfield Township
Farmington Public Schools has closed, but Bloomfield Hills Schools won't make a final decision until early morning.
While temperatures aren't expected to be quite so brutal on Wednesday, school districts across West Bloomfield Township are responding differently to the forecast.
As of 11:30 p.m. Tuesday:
- West Bloomfield School District's calendar showed a late start
- Farmington Public Schools had closed for the day
- Walled Lake Consolidated Schools' website announced the district will be open
- Bloomfield Hills Schools announced it "seems probable that school will be in session", but officials will monitor conditions and make a final decision early Wednesday morning
According to the National Weather Service, a wind chill advisory remains in effect through 10 a.m. Wednesday.
