West Bloomfield Girls Cheer on Mom, 3-Day Walkers in Downtown Farmington

Natalia and Sophia Luna support "Team Moonbeams" in the breast cancer fundraiser, which ends Sunday in Dearborn.

West Bloomfield sisters Natalia Luna, 10, and Sophia Luna, 8, cheered on their mother and "Team Moonbeams" as the Susan G. Komen 3-Day for the Cure walkers cruised through downtown Farmington Friday afternoon.

The girls' mother, Carmen Luna, is a breast cancer survivor; she walked with friends Vicki Blazier and Lauren Morton. The three raised more than $7,400. Funds will be used for breast cancer screenings, education and research.

The 3-Day, which kicked off early Friday morning, ends Sunday with a 4:30 p.m. closing ceremony at Ford World Headquarters in Dearborn.
