Monday launches another full week of activities in West Bloomfield, including the Greater West Bloomfield Chamber tour of restaurants on Orchard Lake Road.

1. From Grief to New Hope

Held at Orchard Lake Community Church, Presbyterian, this series of Monday workshops is open to anyone struggling with the loss of a loved one. For information contact New Hope Center at 248-348-0115.  To register call Jocelyn at 248-821-6627 or contact the church office at 248-682-0730. 

2. Drawn to Read

Help your 4 or 5 year old child prepare for kindergarten with this 2 p.m. Tuesday program offered at the West Bloomfield Township Public Library, which develops fine motor skills and hand-eye coordination. 

3. Greater West Bloomfield Chamber Grub Crawl

Travel up and down Orchard Lake Road visiting more than a dozen restaurants during this Thursday evening tour. Meet at Champp's at 9 p.m. for prize drawings. Tickets and information at westbloomfieldchamber.com or call 248-626-3636. 

4. What's Cooking? Wedding traditions

Join the Friends of the West Bloomfield Township Public Library Thursday, 7 p.m., for the October installment of the What's Cooking? series. Executive chef Gwen Borders, owner of Trifles, a confectionary store in West Bloomfield, will discuss the latest trends in wedding confections. The event is free.
